There are a lot of Designers and Photoshop users that have never tried to make their own custom Photoshop Brushes. I will openly admit I have made one brush set a couple of years ago, and have not dabbed with it since.But looking at what other designers have achieved through making their own sets is somewhat uplifting. So I, Tom White, make a promise, that I shall start to make my own brush sets, and you guys will get first dibs. Sound good? I’m thinking, Ink splashes. We will see.

As most of you may have seen, there is a lot of American Vintage styled graphics circling the internet, especially around this website. We love it here! the second i seen this trend bubbling to the surface, I instantly jumped to the drawing boards. I’m sure a lot of other designers did too, there are many ways to meet that “aged” look, but today I am going to show you the very basic way of achieving it for yourself. There are many other things that you can do to build on this, so get practicing people, use this tutorial as the springboard. Would love to see some outcomes, leave them in the comment section.
