Akvile Lesauskaite is a contemporary fashion painter working in the fashion magazine. She originally came to fashion from painting department – that was her main studies in Vilnius Art Academy and Brera Academy in Italy. Based in Lithuania, Akvile currently is the editor-in-chief of SwO magazine.
In Milan Akvile had her first personal exhibition in a conceptual clothing store Mulino Docksmart. As she claims it was the city where she totally fell in love with the fashion week and continued drawing illustrations. She depicts posing people, emphasizing crisp and glassy sides of fashion, sometimes using non traditional materials taken from the same beauty industry – lipsticks, cosmetic paints or even nail polish.
