The Iconic Aqua Building in Chicago

The City of Chicago has long been known for its majestic skyline.  In 2010, architect Jeanne Gang unveiled a new building that has become one of the iconic structures in Chicago, the Aqua building.  The Aqua’s truly unique flowing exterior is a fresh design element that is not seen anywhere else in modern American skyscraper architecture.  As one of the 50 tallest buildings in the United States, it is visible from the Chicago waterfront along Lake Michigan.  Here are some pictures of the Aqua:
