These paper sculptures that you see before you have carefully curated by Chinese artist, Li Hongbo. At first glance these sculptures appear to be solid, but they suddenly become something entirely unexpected, and I think that it is the un-expectancy that grants this project its ‘WOW’ factor.
The sculptures themselves are made out of thousands of sheets of paper, carefully glued together by Li himself using the same honeycomb technique that is used on some traditional Chinese toys and paper gourds.
