The Dark Beach series of landscape photographs are an exploration of Balmedie beach in bad weather, during these times the beach is deserted, bleak and inhospitable. Whilst most coast and seaside photographs feature sunrise/sunsets or generally nice weather David Langdan prefers the beaches alter ego; when the weather is at its worst. We've come across many underwater photography projects and this is unlike any of them!
Tree People is a surreal and unique project by Marko Prelic, a photographer living and working in Serbia. The project features people walking around in various locations with tree’s sprouting from their necks. This incredibly stunning monochrome fine art photography is by Vassilis Tangoulis, a full time academic teacher-lecturer as well as a photographer. Generally, he believes that B&W photography has more color than color photography because the multiple variations of possible grays, if treated correctly, can reveal much more depth and drama than color can offer.
