Matchstic is a brand identity house, founded in Atlanta, GA back in 2003 – since then they have racked up an impressive eye-candy filled portfolio that has landed them awards every year since 2009. And whilst looking through their portfolio, their testimonials and their story I am consistently impressed. It's not only good design that makes a group like this succeed, It's good people. Below I have compilled a selection of branding case studies from their portfolio that I found most interesting and to start it off, their project for Chick-fil-A.

Nordic House is a dry-cleaning shop in San Francisco, California. Our approach to Nordic House’s branding was focused on Scandinavian design, combining simple geometric forms with a clean, sharp, well-distributed logotype and an icy, cold color palette. Snowy white, chilly grey, pine needle green and fresh salmon combine to create a cool nordic landscape complete with its pure, immaculate and undisguised scents. The face of BT Vision, the TV-on-demand service offered by BT to BT Total Broadband customers has been successfully re-branded, courtesy of ManvsMachine and Proud Creative. Although 3 years have passed since the project was launched it still deserves a spot in our archives, as it displays excellent execution of practical, commercial and creative design.
