John Von Bergen primarily works in sculpture, wall installation, and pencil drawing. His sculptural and installation projects involve a wide range of materials and three-dimensional techniques. His work also involves an extensive range of scale; projects may be as small as 25 cm or as large as 14 meters in length. John’s drawings actually have a similar organic feel to his sculptures. Using fine pencil rendering, his drawings are based on photographs of inanimate objects.
This series of surreal pencil drawings are by Akino Kondoh, she specialises in animation, manga, drawing, painting and has been exhibited internationally. She is currently based in New York and her most recent group exhibition was '2014 Go-Betweens: The World Seen through Children, Mori Art Museum, Tokyo'.
