Diego Andrade is the artist behind the detailed illustrations below, all of them create his project titled “Transición” or “Transition”. Each piece was made using ink on Fabriano paper and the project was Diego’s first solo show as an artist in México City in Gama Crea’s gallery.
The pieces are inspired mostly in “The Tibetan Book of Dead” old engravings, the 60’s 70’s psychedelia, and sci-fi movies and comic books. The show tells us in 10 pieces the story of a soldier who dies in combat, after that, his soul goes to another world to face the path into the beyond so he can be reborn.
