Artist Spends Weeks Painting Detailed Illustrations on Violins

London-based artist Leonardo Frigo paints detailed illustrations on violins. He spends more than 3 weeks on each instrument and his object is to graphically represent a story, an event or a biography. “I like to think that my musical instruments can be read like books”. His illustrations are created with ink and dip pens and are filled with symbols, patterns, and text to engage his audience.
